Siena Ferguson
A few words from Siena...
Hello, my name is Siena Ferguson and I teach singing and piano here at The Musician Academy.
Music has always played a huge part in my life as my father always tried to foster an interest in it, coming from a very musical family himself. My own interest in music, particularly singing and performing became very apparent to my parents when I was around the age of 4, after that point, I was always involved in some sort of creative after-school club whether it was theatre, dancing or art club.
However, I did not begin any serious vocal training until I was 13 and my teacher was one of the managers here at the Musician Academy, Jordan Mackin. Through her I have achieved my grade 8 LCM in pop vocals. Aside from my singing grades I also have grade 5 Trinity for classical piano, I am currently working towards my grade 6 Trinity for classical singing and my grade 5 ABRSM for music theory.
I was also a member of the longest running ‘play in a band’ class here in the musician academy, which I joined at age 14 back in October 2020. This class was an amazing opportunity for me as it has helped me to improve my musical abilities in a group setting, improve my musicality overall and also make life long friends. This greater involved me in the Musician Academy as a business and also helped me land the job of a teacher here!
Outside of The Musician Academy, I am taking a gap year to complete my music A-Level and I plan on continuing music into university, with a focus on songwriting and composition. I am very passionate as well about my teaching as I feel that music is a field that is so often undervalued but is so important to people of all ages. So whether you have a child you want to introduce to music, or you yourself are a late bloomer when it comes to your musical interest, there will always be a place for you here at the Musician Academy.
