I have been playing music for 20+ years and teaching for the last 5 years. Specialising in guitar and the 5 string banjo, I play and teach a range of genres from pop, rock and blues to bluegrass and country. My main influences are Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King, Billy Strings, Chet Atkins, Bela Fleck and Noam Pikelny I am kept busy playing live gigs both with my own band and also doing some session work as well. When I’m not doing that I’m teaching. Teaching people to play is something I’m passionate about and I get a real kick out of seeing students progress on their instrument.
