Hi, my name is Jason Abernethy. I am an instrumental tutor with a passion for both piano and guitar. I began playing guitar at the age of 7 and took up piano at 20, continuing to develop my skills across both instruments with dedication and commitment.

I graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a First Class Honours degree in Audio and Music Production (BSc). I hold a Grade 8 in Acoustic Guitar through RSL and I am close to achieving the same level in piano through Trinity College London.

My dedication to continuous development as a musician is reflected not only in qualifications, but also in the ongoing pursuit of new skills, repertoire and performance opportunities.

I very much tailor my teaching to each student’s individual needs. One of my strengths is making my students feel comfortable and ensuring they have an enjoyable experience while learning 🙂
