One of the most fun to play, yet (in our opinion) underrated instruments of all time is definitely the bass guitar. Despite its subtle sound, the bass actually serves a crucial role in music – it bridges the gap between percussion (drums) and treble (guitar, piano etc), therefore serving both a rhythmic and harmonic purpose in a piece of music. How amazing is that?! Our team of guitarists at The Musician Academy in Lisburn double up as bass teachers and are also exceptional players, all of whom either play or have played bass professionally for function bands in the local scene. Our bass tutors’ expertise can take you from beginner to advanced level in a way that is incredibly fun and motivating, and of course, you also have the option to sit your RSL (Rockschool) bass grades all the way up Grade 8 if you choose!
